How to reach the luxury 5-star San Clemente Palace Hotel & Resort, from and to Piazza San Marco
The San Clemente Palace Hotel & Resort is a few minutes away by motorboat from St. Mark’s square (12 min). A shuttle service from and to Piazza San Marco, on elegant wooden boats, is provided by the hotel on regular service.
The complimentary shuttle service that accompanies Guests from and to Piazza San Marco follows a fascinating itinerary. After leaving Piazza San Marco, the boat passes close to San Giorgio, grazes Giudecca and then San Servolo. Guests can admire a view of the oldest side of the island, with the Church of San Clemente and its parvis, before reaching the entrance of the resort, where the shore porter is there to welcome them.
These four wooden boats, dedicated to gentle female figures, Amanda, Carolina, Eleonora and Francesca, are created by Venetian carpenters, following the nautical principles and traditions of the “Serenissima” Republic.
The route is quick and lasts only 12 minutes. It is also an occasion to savour and experience the unique and special breeze of Venice. The shuttle leaves every day, on regular service. We kindly suggest to contact the Concierge for times checking.
