13/06/2009 - A further summer idea to spend the spare time at the San Clemente Palace
The San Clemente Palace Hotel & Resort and its new, interesting – but above all relaxing – opportunity: on July and August 2009 it will be possible to follow an exclusive Tai Chi Chuan Course surrounded by the enchanting centuries-old park of San Clemente Island.
Tai Chi Chuan is not a competitive sport and it can be practiced by anyone of any age because it doesn’t require the use of muscular strength. It consists in performing a connection of light movements that, together with relaxation and respiration techniques, allows the production and development of inner energy.
The Masters counter this expression of the vital power with the muscular strenght, considered decidedly inferior and limited. The thought-intention leads the movement without using central nervous system and the muscular strength.
The Tai Chi Chuan Course will be presented by Mr Franco Mescola and it will be held by one of the teachers of the Tai Chi Italian Association “Centro Ricerche Tai Chi”, on July and August 2009, with the following program:
Every Wednesday on July and August 2009, from 7.00 p.m. until 8.15 p.m., starting from Wednesday 8 July:
It is suggested to wear comfortable t-shirts, pants and gym-shoes. Lessons will be held also in case of rain, in one of the close areas of the Hotel.
